COBHAM REMEMBERS World War II
and its impact on a Surrey Village
Following the success of the "Cobham Remembers, the Great War and its impact on a Surrey Village", we are pleased to announce the publication of its companion book "Cobham Remembers World War II and its impact on a Surrey Village". This follows a similar format to the first book and has been expanded to almost 600 pages. The hardback book provides a nostalgic, poignant and insightful view of Cobham and the surrounding villages during World War II, with interesting anecdotes and rare photographs. This social history has been combined with a Roll of Honour recognising the local men who died in the service of their country.
After receiving their copy, one of our recent buyers said: "Having just received my copy of the book, I send you my appreciation and congratulations on an excellent job that you have done."
Copies can be ordered direct from Cobham Heritage at £19.00 per copy plus postage & packing. Postage & packing is free if collected from one of our Open Meetings. To order, please order and pay online through this website.
The book is also available for £21.00 from:
The Cobham Bookshop, 12A Anyards Road, Cobham KT11 3JE and
